Fia Farr - Website

As a proud father, I had the opportunity to help my daughter to create her own website. It was a fun challenge to find a visual style that fit her personality. Creating the brand identity for her online career modeling, acting, and being a YouTube personality. I created the site primarily using the Nuxt.js framework (Vue.js) and some NodeJS for the backend. Deployments are handled via Netlify, using GIT as the SVN.

Emphasis on Re-Use

I also created a bunch of reusable components in Sketch to make creating thumbnails for YouTube fast, and easy. That way when a new video comes, all I need to do is update the text, image, and emojis.

Have I mentioned recently how much I really love Sketch for prototyping, or even quick reusable layouts?

Building an Identity

Something I think everyone struggles with, especially when it is personal. Either way I wanted to keep her fun, peppy attitude at the forefront to showcase the wonderful, loving kid my family knows and loves.

I aimed to keep the shapes simple and the colors vibrant and energetic.
